Summer Tower Bridge London Wedding

Katie and Pat's wedding day was nothing short of magical, set in the vibrant heart of London with the iconic Tower Bridge as their stunning backdrop. The scene was picture-perfect, with the historic bridge standing tall over the Thames, providing the couple with a true London landmark for their special day. Katie’s parents flew from Canada to witness their beautiful daughter marry the love of her life, making the day even more special with the family reunited from across the pond.

As a proud Canadian living in the UK, Katie wanted to sprinkle her wedding with quintessential British charm, with the famous red telephone boxes every tourist loves to snap a picture with. It was the perfect blend of her heritage and her love for her new home. The day itself couldn’t have been more perfect – the skies were clear, and the sun shone brightly.

Katie and her bridesmaids got ready at The Tower Hotel, enjoying the most spectacular views of the city skyline from their suite. The excitement in the air was palpable as they sipped on bubbly and shared laughs, taking in the breathtaking London views. Meanwhile, Pat and his groomsmen prepared a couple of floors below eagerly awaiting the moment they’d see Katie.

The couple’s “first look” was straight out of a fairytale, set in the enchanting ruins of an ancient church. The ruins were a hidden gem, with vibrant colours from creeping vines and stunning arches that created the perfect mix of romance and history. The architecture was jaw-dropping, adding a sense of wonder to the day.

The ceremony was held at the Dickens Inn, a historic venue steeped in London’s rich past. Originally built in the 1700s, the Inn was the perfect spot to celebrate love, laughter, and a new chapter in Katie and Pat’s lives. With its charming wooden beams and a cosy atmosphere, the venue exuded character and warmth, setting the perfect tone for the rest of the evening. It was a day to remember – full of love, history, and the magic of London.
